Little Scientists is an enrichment program that aims to help foster curiosity, critical thinking and a commitment to excel academically through hands-on activities, lesson plans and challenges that teach math, reasoning and problem solving. Preparation for the CogAT test (Cognitive Abilities Test), used to measure reasoning and problem-solving skills rather than acquired knowledge, is a major focus of the program. The Little Scientists provided practice in multiple areas of reasoning (verbal, quantitative and non-verbal) to help students build their confidence and do their best on their CogAT assessments.
The Little Scientists encourages students to participate in international academic competitions such as Kangaroo Math, one of the largest mathematics competitions for students in the world. Children will learn to complete challenging problems using structured training based on fun mathematical puzzles and logical reasoning activities.
The Little Scientists provides students with a supportive learning environment that allows them to ask questions and discover new ideas, creating a lifelong love of learning through the process of discovery.
