Useful Resources for Exam Preparation
From my experience, it becomes quite easy to prepare for an exam when the person is equipped with necessary information and expectations. It is common for Educational Testing Service (ETS) to come into discussion while preparing for a test or GRE or TOEFL exams. One aspect I really like is that there are many resources where one can find information regarding the format of the exam, take a GRE practice test and know whether one's preparation is good enough. GRE score becomes crucial for one's graduate school application, thus it is very important to prepare adequately and know the scoring system in detail. Checking for GRE registration details will be a good idea from my point of view, since one can prepare accordingly without the stress of last-minute registration. Knowing about the available GRE test dates is also very important, especially for those students whose application deadlines coincide with GRE date availability. Therefore, Educational Testing Service offers many useful resources for those who are planning to take an exam.
Common Questions
1. Is ETS helpful to students who want to prepare for TOEFL or GRE?
Yes. ETS provides official information, sample questions, materials for preparation, and other necessary things that may help to make your preparation process easier. In my opinion, it is very convenient to have all the things together while trying to figure out how the exam looks like.
2. How difficult is the registration for the ETS test?
In general, the registration process is quite simple, but it may be useful to take into account the available dates and places in advance. The availability of the dates may depend on your location and on the chosen format of the exam.
3. Should you consider ETS as a tool for TOEFL and GRE preparation?
From my experience, ETS is helpful as the material comes directly from the organization itself. Official practice questions and test information will help you get more insight about the exam; however, not everybody needs any other resources in addition to that."
