ClassDojo

ClassDojo is a well-known educational tool that helps connect teachers, student(s), and family(s). The founders Sam Chaudhary and Liam Don started ClassDojo in 2011 to provide teachers with a way to create a stronger relationship/connectedness within their classroom to create a positive classroom community. ClassDojo is currently used by millions of teachers across the world to help teachers manage their classroom while allowing parents to stay involved in their child's education.

Through the ClassDojo app, teachers can share with families real-time updates, photos, and videos of classroom activities; therefore giving parents a window into the daily learning experiences. In addition, there are behavior tracking tools that allow teachers to reward and/or give positive/constructive feedback to students for their behavior, promoting positive habits of both academic/societal success. Students can also use the ClassDojo app to create a digital portfolio of their work so they are able to showcase their work and promote creativity and ownership of their learning.
